Ella’s photo shoot!

Ella and I played around yesterday because A) she was in a GREAT mood B) she was wearing a super cute outfit and C) I had a silly idea I wanted to try out!!  …. And here is my most favorite picture of Ella probably EVER!  It looks like she was just caught juggling oranges! Pahaha.

And here she is looking b-e-a-utiful!

You can see her little first tooth comin’ in!!

She wanted to eat the oranges, so that tongue was out pretty much non-stop

LOOK at that face.  She wanted to show the dummies at Regis and Kelly that said she wasn’t pretty enough to win their contest and be a model for parenting magazine.

And then just a happy shot of bare baby feets and pretty oranges to make you smile!

So Ella had all her best friends over for an all-girls playgroup! And of course I went too because I just love little babies! These 8 beauties had so much fun together and I can only imagine it will just get more and more fun as they get older and start to really interact and play together!  And, per my usual style, I brought my camera along with a goal to get a good shot of each little girly!

To start we have the hostess-with-the-mostess… Miss Ella

And then we have Miss Eliza with the long luxurious hair that all the other babies were jealous of (not that you can tell in this picture!)

Then there is the girl with all the smiles and the tongue that she knows how to stick out at everyone … Miss Addalin (and though I LOVE her name… I have no clue how to spell it!)

And Miss Libby is just a little bundle of energy. She just wants to go go go: standing up on everything she could grab!

And then there is the oldest of the bunch who was teaching everyone how to walk and has an abundance of curiosity: Miss Sutton (another name I love and have no idea how to spell…)

Then there is another one of the littles who was just trying to take in everything going on so she could learn to be like the “big girls” … Miss Hana

And this smiley cutie is the only girl with sibling (two big brothers no less!) so she was completely unfazed by the chaos of 8 babies! … Miss Morgan

And last but most certainly NOT least is Miss Zoe who was 100% determined to get around and discover all the new things there were to see as she was just learning how to crawl

Gosh, could you even dream of a better looking group of little ladies?!  I will just answer that for you: NOPE!

I went with Ella, Carin and Alex to Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana last week and it was AWESOME!  So much fun!! We stayed with Carin’s friends Julie and Mike who are living in a huge gorgeous house in Bozeman with access to an equally gorgeous and pretty big Spanish Peaks (Big Sky) house!  It was a lot of good fun, good people, great food and of course snow!!  This first photo is maybe one of my ALLLLL TIME FAVORITES!  Harper and Ella made it easy to grab this shot, but it’s just so funny and cute!

I really don’t think any of these photos will top that but here are a few more cute ones of Ella-bean!  She learned how to really sit up by herself on this trip so I thought I’d get a shot of her doing so!

And another one with Harper … they were just soo fun to photograph together!

The backyard of the Bozeman house with lots of snow and ice on the trees!

Ice crystals on the trees!  I like this one.

The neighbors have cows. I’m not sure how the cows felt about the ice… but they made for a nice contrast to all the white 🙂

And on the to Spanish Peaks and Big Sky… this was the ski in-ski out cat walk form the house to the slopes!

On the drive back to Bozeman I insisted we stop because I loved how the mountains in Montana really looked “wild” with this river running through it and pine trees and walls of rock.  AND a Moose!  Not in this picture though.

I even got out on the slopes for a few runs.  Every time I’m forced to ski I swear I lose a few years of my life from the sheer terror I experience.

I officially really like Montana! 🙂

Cal and Mick!

This morning I got to see the Kaminsky boys again after 5 months!  Cal seriously is a different child. And he is just BEYOND cute. Ladies man for sure. And Mick is a little spastic professor, it cracks me up.  Check out how handsome these two kids are:

mmmk yeah so cute. and SO funny:

And Mick’s glasses, my word… so darn adorable (even if he does look like an evil genius in this)

And of course he is way cute without the glasses too!

Seriously. This kid. Too darn funny.

And now the Cal Kaminsky show:

baby teeth? to die for.

So interested in things now that he’s bigger…

I mean…. could there be a cutter, chubbier, more curly-haired child?!

He’s a model. Period.

Seriously. Diesel Jeans called… they want their ad back.

Hello Gerber baby.

Haha! So funny! Mirrors + babies = hours of entertainment.

And one last one of both the little dudes …

Seriously. Could there be two cuter brothers? mmm NOPE!

Cruise to the Caribbean!

K get ready… there are A LOT of pictures! 🙂  Here is the view from the balcony of the room as we left Miami…

Miami beach…

The last look at land for 2 days.

The ships pool deck.

The sunset on the first night.

The first stop: Cayman Islands

THE BEACH! Finallllly… I was in heaven!

heaven. for real.

I heart palm trees. I was quite obsessed with taking pictures of them.

Hopped a cement wall to take this (inner photojournalist instinct) and had a chat with the local cayman folk about fishing. These were capers that these guys catch and then serve at the restaurant down the road where we had just eaten, and I had had the caper. It was very full circle for me!

ummm hello Cayman Island post card.

Sunset after a long day in the Caymans. GLORIOUS!

The herd of people leaving the cruise ships in Cozumel. This does not even do justice to the size of these monster ships. Or the mass exodus of humans leaving them. For real.

Hello gorgeous blue water!

Main Street Cozumel on our way to go scuba diving (and by our I am not including myself since I spent the 2 hours on the beach getting a massage and drinking a margarita. I win!)

See. Told you. Love palm trees. They are just so much cooler than other trees.

Watching the waves crash and the people scuba dive…

I was entertained by the waves for a good 30 minutes.

Hilarious. We are in a taxi (risking our lives) and we pass this family of 3 on a glorified moped. That woman on the back is carrying a 2 year old kid like a baby. So funny.

Sunset down Main Street Cozumel.  Taken from an open air margarita bar.  Perfection my friends.

Stunnnnnnning. Seriously.

And last but not least… the sunset on the last night on the ship, which also happened to be New Years Eve… so it was the last sunset of the DECADE. Crazy. People applauded when the sun disappeared over the horizon.

I already miss 85 and sunny. and palm trees. and the beach!
